Ms Anna Mathew

Deputy Director/ Pedagogy

Anna brings over 15 years of educational experience to her role at AST. Prior to joining ELIS, she served as the Vice-Principal of a primary school for five years. Before that, she headed the English department at a secondary school and worked as a Curriculum Planning Officer at MOE’s English Language and Literature Branch.

Anna believes in empowering teachers to continually refine their craft and, more importantly, to find joy in the process.

Outside of her work, Anna enjoys reading, travelling and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
