ELIS Classroom Inquiry Special Interest Group Progress Update Session Two 2024

Six SIG members from one primary and two secondary schools met online on Monday, 12 Aug 2024 (4.00 – 5.00pm) to report on the progress of their classroom inquiries. They sought feedback from each other and from their ELIS Specialists, Alison, Caroline, Jeanne and Rachel.
Faith, Erica and Angeline from Manjusri Secondary School provided updates on their project on exploring GenAI in secondary students’ grammar and writing.
Zalena and Hannah from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ Secondary School presented their project on supporting lower-readiness students’ writing through student-generated questions to scaffold writing.
Celebrating Learning Session
The SIG members plan to meet in-person for a Celebrating Learning Session on 20 Feb 2025 to present their inquiry findings and learning from their inquiry projects.
