Join the FPCD Special Interest Group to build classroom discussion skills. Contact Dr Rachel Goh at rachel_goh@moe.gov.sg to learn more.
ELIS supports teachers in facilitating productive classroom discussion. Here are highlights of the E7 Cluster Workshops on Facilitating Productive Classroom Discussion (FPCD), which were conducted in 2025.

As part of the E7 Cluster FPCD workshops, the schools submitted their plans for application and cascading of learning. The schools gathered for a Celebrating Learning session to present how they applied their learning to build shared knowledge and understanding across the cluster.
An FPCD Special Interest Group (SIG) has also been formed to grow a community of teachers with a shared interest in promoting effective communication for teaching and student learning. Members of the SIG will engage in designing classroom practices that promote productive classroom discussion, and build the professional knowledge, skills and dispositions that support students' learning.
