Mr Lester Ian Lim

Assistant Director (Pedagogy)

Prior to joining ELIS, Lester was the Head of English Language (Junior College) and subsequently, Head of Curriculum Development at an Integrated Programme (IP) school. He taught General Paper and English Language and Linguistics.

Lester takes a keen interest in how to make the learning of the English language and General Paper enjoyable. He enjoys exploring effective approaches to assessment feedback, dialogic feedback, and assessment feedback literacy. His favourite areas in Linguistics are pragmatics, critical discourse analysis, multimodality and interactional discourse.

Lester enjoys travel, tennis, and therapeutic walks.
