Before joining AST, Pearlyn Lim gained substantial experience across media and education. Her professional background includes serving for 11 years as a Head of Department, following her valuable tenure as a Curriculum Planning Officer at the Ministry of Education (MOE), and earlier work as a journalist at Singapore Press Holdings.

Currently, Pearlyn is a doctoral candidate whose research interests include the sensemaking of policies, supporting teacher professional development and fostering collaborative practice for curriculum change. She is also keen on strengthening assessment literacy and effective pedagogy for teaching English Language and Literature.

In her free time, she enjoys quiet pursuits such as cooking and gardening, as well as staying active through swimming and long walks in natural settings.
