Dr Tay May Yin

May Yin is a Principal Master Teacher of the English Language Institute of Singapore. Her experience includes teaching English Language, Literature and the General Paper at the secondary and pre-university levels, and being a Senior Curriculum Specialist in Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD), MOE. She has been Assistant Director/ English Language and Literature, and Assistant Director/ Curriculum Policy and Pedagogy in CPDD. She has also been a Senior Lecturer with the English Language and Literature Academic Group, National Institute of Education, Singapore. She has authored, co-authored and co-edited 14 publications, two of which have been published internationally. Her research interests include language pedagogy; school-based curriculum design, development, implementation and evaluation; and the practice of teacher professionalism.
